Each necklace, ring, bracelet or earrings I make is the only one like it in the world! Due to the unique nature of the crystals and gemstone beads, and my ever evolving creative curiosity, I never mass produce or outsource manufacturing. I create every single unique design in my studio in Marietta, Georgia.

Every piece of jewelry I create features the finest natural gemstones that I've hand selected for their
beauty and quality. I have been fascinated with gems since childhood, and have devoted the last 20 years to studying them and creating jewelry that showcases their natural splendor. I am a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and a passionate fanatic of all of nature's glittering jewels.
What is a Gemologist?
Gemology is a science dealing specifically with the gemstones and minerals used in jewelry. Employing a variety of specialized equipment and tests, measurements can be taken which definitively identify the material in question. Instruments such as a microscope, refractometer, spectrometer and polariscope can be used to prove what a gemstone is, and rule out stimulants and synthetics. Becoming a Gemologist requires going to school at an internationally recognized institution like GIA. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) is an independent, nonprofit organization that conducts research, educates gem professionals and sets the standards for determining quality standards.
Being able to correctly identify natural gemstones is crucial in the jewelry business today, which is sadly awash with incorrectly labeled items and innumerable misleading enhancements. Imitation stones are things like glass, plastic or other dyed substitutions that attempt to achieve the same desired look of a more valuable gemstone.
